They all fell into the cold dark room, quickly locked the doors behind them, pushing the tables over in places for safety.
‘So then, you two did what I asked you to do?’ Marsden enquired
‘Of course. You definately made it very clear. Just like you told us’ Jessica replied
‘Are you sure?’
Take the stones, rub them in the blood. Postion them in the right way. Go unseen, return as fast as hell’ she told him
‘Well I sure as damn hope you two did it good enough’ he said
‘Just as you told us’ the other added
As they looked at each other, clamorous pounding errupted ferociously on the doors and walls. Shocking hellish wailing could be heard. The wood of the door cracked, splintered.
‘It can’t be. That’s wrong. You’ve done something wrong’ Marsden said
The two women looked at him, at each other. He fell back, fearful panic in his eyes.
‘You liars. You deceitful liars’
‘It might be more loyal, more unquestioning of you than us’ Jessica told him
It smashed through then, the door in pieces. Into the room, wood broken all around. The women stood relatively calm. The beast lurched righ tin toward Marsden. Holding their blood painted stones in their hands, the women silently climbed out through the doorway behind. Jessica looked back as the beast clutched Marsden.
‘We found another way. Hope you can too’ she said.
The two women walked away, the sound of apologetic violent death cried out behind them.
